Troop 255 SCUBA Event

Overview

The troop, in conjuction with Atlantic Edge Scuba, is hosting an event in which scouts can become PADI-certified, a requirement to attend Sea Base 2024. Becoming PADI-certified offers many opportunities throughout the world to enjoy coral reefs and the ethereal experience of scuba diving.

Course Information

The event includes access to a requried PADI e-learning course, which is required to attend the pool event. In 10-20 hours, you will learn what you need to know in order to scuba dive safely. The pool dive will assess your readiness and knowledge in these skills. Keep in mind, in order to attain PADI-certification, one must also complete open-water checkout dives, which will also help to evaluate your scuba skills.
