Sea Base High Adventure 2025 SCUBA Advanced Marine Exploration
Make your $250/person deposit to secure your spot for Sea Base SCUBA Advanced Marine Exploration 2025. Our next payment due to the BSA is March 11, 2024, so please register before then.
The total cost we pay to the BSA is $1,375/person assuming we have a full crew of 12. If we have fewer than 12 the cost will go up as the price per crew is fixed at $16,500.
Other costs for the high adventure will include:
- Basic SCUBA certification prior to the adventure
- Purchase or rent SCUBA gear not provided at sea base (e.g., mask, snorkel)
- Travel to and from Sea Base
- Souvenirs and miscellaneous
Further payments of 50% of balance on Nov. 1, 2024 and final balance due by April 6, 2025 to the BSA, so our payment dates will be prior to that.

Who?
Scouts that are 14 years old or who have completed the 8th grade by July 5, 2025. We will need two adults and will limit adult registrations to keep spots open for scouts. All participants must have basic SCUBA certifications prior to arrival at Sea Base (e.g., PADI Open Water Diver).
When?
The official dates of the adventure are July 5-11, 2025. We should plan to arrive at least a day in advance whether flying or driving. If driving, budget 2-3 days in each direction.
What?
If you are looking for an adventure where you will earn a PADI Advanced Scuba certification and help the reef environment, then this is the adventure for you. How many people can say they have transplanted living coral from a nursery onto a reef? This is only one of the exciting aspects of this adventure. Whether you are doing a night dive on the reef or a deep dive to gain experience, the Advanced class will definitely enhance your diving skills. You will do 11 or more dives, including a night dive (weather permitting).
