Sail across Chesapeake Bay to Kent Island

Register: Sign up now, have first choice of sleeping on the boat, or sleeping on the lawn at Mr. Pierces. Must participate in next Sea Scout Ship 255 meeting on Thursday Sept. 16th at 7:30pm to plan for the trip. Sailing is limited to 9 registered participants.

Rank Advancement: Scout will have the opportunity to work on advancement towards the rank of Apprentice (Sea Scouting), focusing on safety, boat handling and leadership.

Cost:  $15/person

Sailboat: Pearson 30, easy to sail, draft 5 feet, sleeps 4 in the cabin, 2 on deck, has a head, galley, dinghy

Where: Meet at CCES at 9:00am for transportation, more to follow. Arrive at 10:00 am at Hartge Yacht Harbor, located at 4883 church lane, Galesville (E dock, slip 218).

Sailing Destination: Mr. Pierce’s, located at 110 Beachside Drive, Kent Island, MD.
