Philmont 2026
Overview:
Philmont High Adventure is the quintessential scouting experience. When you tell somebody that you were a scout, it's common for their first question to be if you've gone to Philmont or not. At camp, you'll backpack for countless miles, camp every night, and engage in unique activities reminiscent of the old west, like gold panning and horseback riding. Philmont is an unforgettable and unique experience, unlike any other high adventure in the world.
Eligibility?
Any Scout First Class and above, age 14 as of arrival at Philmont, boy or girl.
Cost?
Total COST: ~$2500 - not including travel, non-Philmont accomodation, and non-Philmont food
FIRST PAYMENT COST: $1000
DEADLINE: September 16th, 2025
SECOND PAYMENT COST: $1000
DEADLINE: February 17th, 2026
All payments should be considered transferable but non-refundable (as with all BSA camps, fees are never refundable outside of force majuere shutdowns).
Registration?
Two slots are available for crew 727-106. If there is sufficient additional interest, another crew can be reserved.
