Marine Corps Barracks DC Friday Evening Parade

You may remember Corporal Teal Ewer, the ceremonial bugler for the Marine Corps Barracks in DC as a guest speaker for our Troop last summer. On summer Fridays the Marine Corps Barracks puts on an impressive parade and CPL Ewer is a key performer.

We have a limited number of tickets (12) for the Friday, August 27 parade, which is the last one of the season. Since this is a ticketed event with a limited capacity restriction, all persons wishing to attend this event with the Troop must register and pay to gain entrance. There may be an opportunity to get more tickets if there is enough interest. 

Agenda

  • Dress for Scouts - Class A uniform.
  • 7:00 PM - Meet at CCES.
  • 8:00 PM - Enter Marine Corps Barracks at 8th & I St SE.
  • Caravan back to CCES.

Additional Details

  • Attendance at this Parade will be in compliance with local COVID-19 guidelines. Persons who are not vaccinated (2 weeks post final shot) are required to wear a mask while in attendance at the Evening Parade.  
  • Persons displaying any of the following symptoms are asked to not attend the parade: nausea, fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose and/or diarrhea.  
  • We ask that your entire party arrive together between 7 pm and 8 pm to be seated.  
  • Summers in Washington DC are hot. Guests are encouraged to bring their own water to prevent dehydration during the Parade.
