Harper’s Ferry Ducky Trip

On August 29th we will be going to duckying on the Shenandoah River.

Note: The outfitter mandates that you must be 10 years old to attend. Maximum 16 People First Come first serve

Please be at Chevy Chase Elementary at 9:30am. We will drive in family units to the main outfitter office at 37410 Adventure Center Ln, Hillsboro, VA 20132, directions linked here. 

Trip Schedule: We will be shuttled from the main outfitter office to the put in point. Please prepare to get wet! There will be 1 person in each ducky. We will paddle for 2-3 hours depending on river conditions. The outfitter will then shuttle us back to the office. Please bring a bagged lunch to eat after we are done on the water.

People should be dressed to get wet and should bring a change of clothes and a towel. We also need to bring regular camping supplies and everyone needs to bring food for their family.

We will be camping at 6620 Zittlestown Rd, Middletown, MD 21769 so please bring all usual camping supplies, no sharing of food or tents. We will drive home the following morning and should be home by 12:30.
