Conestoga Trail BACKPACKING Trip
Route:
Plan for backpacking! Unless the weather turns afoul, we will be backpacking to a camp about halfway down the ~10 mile trail. We will visit Wind Cave after setting up camp on Sunday, with about 5 scouts entering at a time.We will need no more than 5 bike helmets for this caving. Other sites include:the town of Pequa, Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal, and the Holtwood Dam.
Departure: CCES parking lot at 8 am, Saturday, March 15. Return around 3 pm Sunday.
Cost:
$20 pp. Bring lunch money for the return trip on
Sunday.
Additional Driver Needed: This hike is point-to-point. We need a driver to shuttle drivers from Martic Forge Bridge back to Pinnacle Overlook to pick up vehicles. This driver does not have to hike or camp with the Troop. See flyer for more information.
