OR

Meet 9 am at Chevy Chase Elementary School. 15 seats available for carpooling.

RSVP to Zach to reserve a seat (202-621-4538)

We will be doing landscaping in 7 mausoleums at Congressional Cemetery. First we will remove grass and sod and move it to another place across from the mausoleums.

Then the soil will be raked and soil conditioner will be raked into the soil. We will then rake mounds in the centers of the beds, filter fabric will be placed on top, and the locations of the plants will be measured and marked in a silver sharpie before holes are cut in the filter fabric. The plants will be planted and mulch will be placed on top.

The mausoleums are a main attraction of the Congressional Cemetery and making them look nicer would beautify this historical monument for the DC community.
