Ranger Service Project - Tara

  • 06 May 2017
  • 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Chevy Chase Circle

Tara, crew president of Venturing Crew 255, is hosting a Ranger service project at the Chevy Chase Circle this coming May 6th at 9am-1pm.

For this project, we will be pruning the Azalea bushes around the circle down to 4ft tall, but, we need help from the Troop and the community to achieve this goal.

The Azaleas are very big and may take about 4 hours to prune down. Parents and scouts are welcome to join and there will be trained attendees who will teach any beginners to pruning. As for crossing into the circle, crossing guards will help out on this day.

This is an open house event, so you do not need to stay the whole 4 hours. And as usual, there will be food provided for the boys and girls of the Troop and Crew.

Attached is the flyer with more details and the volunteer agreement form that parents/guardians are required fill out for attendees under the age of 18.

Any and all questions are welcomed at crew255project@gmail.com.

Please come out to help!! More information and form below...
